For the fifth time, the free street “joy music” concert series returns to the Jewish Quarter. Between May 28 and June 25, Jewish music will fill Dob Street every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, opposite the Spinoza, at the Carl Lutz Memorial.
The concert series features some of Hungary’s finest artists, and this year, for the first time, an international ensemble will also join the lineup. The event is a gift from the Spinoza Theater and Café to the residents of the district, tourists visiting the Jewish Quarter, and all passersby.
The event will be opened by Péter Niedermüller, Mayor of Erzsébetváros, and Andor Grósz, President of Mazsihisz.
At Gergely Nógrádi’s concerts, his voice fills the entire neighborhood as he energetically and warmly brings Jewish musical traditions closer to the audience.
